Position: IKOS Safety Engineer for Rail Systems
Join IKOS as a Safety Engineer focused on railway systems in Canada, where you’ll apply your knowledge of RAMS and safety regulations. This role is essential for ensuring compliance and enhancing system safety practices.

In this position, you will conduct detailed safety analyses and oversee safety assurance processes for railway projects. Your contributions will be critical to ensuring that all systems adhere to regulatory standards and meet customer requirements throughout the project's lifecycle. Collaboration with the team will be important to drive improvements in safety methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive safety analyses including FTA and HAZID

• Establish and ensure adherence to safety processes

• Identify and mitigate railway system safety risks

• Document safety requirements and project plans

• Lead RAMS testing and compliance activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in a technical field

• Experience with safety analysis in the railway sector

• Knowledge of CENELEC standards and RAMS tools

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Bilingual proficiency in English & French is a plus
