Position:
Janitor

Full‑time position / 2nd shift:
Sunday to Wednesday 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM
Pay: $17 per hour (plus $1 shift differential Monday‑Wednesday and $2 shift differential Sunday ONLY)

• Proficient in mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming surfaces
• Empty trash bins and clean trash area daily; operate trash compactor when applicable
• Pull pallets and clean/scrub product bays on a rotating basis
• Clean up spills or breakages to the inventoried product; recoup damages and determine resale or disposal per food safety standards
• Clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms, restrooms, offices, etc.
• Complete daily sanitation logs
• Utilize chemicals, detergents, and cleaning equipment
• Operate scrubber and pallet jacks if required to perform duties
• Identify and address cleanliness and sanitation issues
• Comply with all safety requirements
• Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• No prior experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently and with others, multi‑task, organize, manage time, and handle numbers
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening
• Position designated as safety sensitive; requires constant alertness and safe work practices
• Accept responsibility for own safety and that of others

• Ability to see, read instructions, and communicate verbally; adequate vision required (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment)
• Move frequently, stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach; lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally
