* The Forklift Operator I is responsible for safely operating material handling equipment to move, load, unload, stack, and organize warehouse merchandise. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, efficient warehouse operations, and compliance with safety procedures.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Safely operate forklifts, box clamp trucks, push-pull equipment, and EPJ (Electric Pallet Jack)

+ Complete daily equipment inspections and follow all safety procedures.

+ Load, unload, move, stack, and store merchandise in designated warehouse areas.

+ Pick, prepare, and stage orders for shipment, ensuring product and quantity accuracy.

+ Transport products between storage areas, staging locations, and outbound trailers.

+ Use RF scanners to track inventory and maintain accurate warehouse records.

+ Assist with physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and product rotation.

+ Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, and safety hazards.

+ Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.

+ Use basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel.

+ Perform order picking, order checking, and other warehouse duties as assigned.

** Mandatory

Skills & Qualifications *
* + High school diploma or GED.

+ Must have minimum of 1 year of most recent forklift operation experience and experience using warehouse distribution equipment required.

+ Must qualify for and successfully pass a forklift certification.

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

+ Effective customer service skills and basic math proficiency.

+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 10-12 hours per shift.

+ Ability to lift and/or pull between 10 and 50 lbs., as required by business needs, with or without reasonable accommodation.

+ Ability to perform frequent bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching at or above shoulder level.

+ Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperatures.

+ Flexibility to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
