We're currently recruiting for an experienced Roofing Estimator to join a well-established and growing roofing contractor.
This is an excellent permanent opportunity for an estimator with a strong understanding of the roofing industry who can confidently price and manage tenders from initial enquiry through to submission.
The role will include:- Preparing accurate estimates and quotations for roofing projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
- Producing material and labour take-offs
- Obtaining and comparing supplier/subcontractor quotations
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and the wider contracts team
- Identifying potential risks, variations and value-engineering opportunities
- Managing multiple tenders and deadlines
- Previous estimating experience within the roofing sector
- Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials and installation methods
- Excellent numerical and commercial awareness
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Good IT skills and experience with estimating software would be advantageous
Salary: £50,000 per annum
