Job Title: Group BIM & Revit Architectural Technologist

Location: Office based in Ringwood, Hampshire with some travel to sites as required

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the role

Churchill Living is looking for an experienced Revit Architectural Technologist to play a key role in the next phase of our digital design and BIM evolution. This is an exciting opportunity to influence BIM standards, digital delivery and technical excellence across a nationally recognised residential developer.

Working at the centre of our Group Technical team, you will develop and govern our Revit content, support colleagues and consultants, and help shape consistent BIM working practices across the business.

This role will suit a technically strong Revit professional who combines excellent construction knowledge with a passion for digital innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Please note: This is not an entry-level Revit role. Applicants must have strong practical Revit experience and a proven ability to produce detailed technical construction information to UK standards. The role is best suited to experienced Revit professionals with strong technical design capability.

Most components are being developed as 3D Revit assets, with some predictable items, such as standard kitchen and bathroom layouts, retained as 2D resources where this is the most practical and commercially appropriate format.

This role offers a rare opportunity to shape how BIM is implemented across a national residential developer, influencing standards, processes and digital delivery as Churchill Living continues its BIM journey.

As Churchill Living continues to expand its use of BIM and digital construction methods, this position offers significant opportunity to influence future standards, processes and technologies across the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own, maintain and develop Churchill Livings Revit content, including standard apartment models and component families.
  • Convert, update and coordinate appropriate AutoCAD details and resources into BIM-ready Revit content.
  • Support wider divisional adoption of Revit through practical guidance, user support, feedback capture and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and apply BIM protocols, naming conventions, content standards and quality control procedures.
  • Work with internal teams and external Autodesk partners to support Revit training, software implementation and consistent working practices.
  • Manage model data, family parameters and supporting information so Revit content is robust, searchable and suitable for future project use.
  • Review project model deliveries for accuracy, consistency and compliance with Churchill Livings agreed BIM standards.
  • Lead or support BIM coordination meetings, model reviews and issue resolution discussions.
  • Create clear guidance notes, training materials and practical support resources for Revit and BIM users across the business.
  • Liaise with project managers, technical teams, designers, consultants and other stakeholders to support coordinated model-based working.
  • Stay informed about digital construction developments, Revit updates and emerging tools, assessing their potential benefits and advising on implementation where appropriate.

Attend relevant digital construction, Prop Tech and BIM events where they provide clear value to the business.
