Are you a qualified tax professional looking for a role that goes beyond compliance and into strategic impact? Our client is a well-established, down-to-earth accountancy practice with offices in Ringwood and Wimborne. Known for their approachable culture and long-standing client relationships, they are seeking a commercially minded Senior Tax Advisor to join their team and play a pivotal role in shaping tax strategy and business direction.

This is an opportunity to move away from routine work and into a role where your insights and expertise will directly influence client outcomes and firm strategy. What You’ll Be Doing As a senior member of the team, you’ll work closely with Directors and clients, providing high-level tax planning and advisory services. You’ll be involved in complex restructuring, business planning, and technical tax matters, helping owner-managed businesses navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver strategic tax planning and advisory services across a diverse client base Lead involvement in company restructuring and commercial decision-making Provide expert guidance on income tax, CGT, trusts, estates, and ideally stamp duty Prepare company accounts with a tax advisory perspective Manage HMRC enquiries and negotiations with confidence and clarity Translate complex legislation into practical, actionable advice What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone with a sharp technical mind and strong commercial instincts—someone who sees beyond the numbers and understands the broader business landscape.

Ideal Candidate Profile: ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified Strong background in personal and business tax, including CGT, income tax, and trusts Experience advising owner-managed businesses Exposure to corporate restructuring and complex advisory cases Excellent communication skills with a focus on clarity and practicality Comfortable navigating HMRC guidance and manuals Bonus:
