About Us
Glynn Court is a warm and welcoming residential home with a strong family feel. We believe that life should continue to be full, lively, and connected—no matter your age. We are now looking for someone who is community‑mindful and passionate about bringing joy, activity, and local relationships into the home.
The Role
We are seeking someone who can be a pillar of the community—building bridges between Glynn Court and the local area, ensuring residents remain active, stimulated, and socially connected.
This is a role for someone who enjoys talking to people, organising events, and forming meaningful partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Build links with local groups, schools, churches, hobby clubs, and community organisations
- Arrange visits, regular activities, and seasonal events within the home
- Support residents to maintain strong community identity, without needing to travel far
- Bring fresh ideas to stimulate conversation, laughter, creativity, music, movement, culture, and companionship
- Help position Glynn Court as a lively hub where the community wants to be involved
- Contribute to creating a warm environment that may also attract new residents over time
Who We’re Looking For:
- Is friendly, confident, and comfortable meeting new people
- Has a good understanding of community life and enjoys being involved in it
- Ideally someone mature, grounded, and patient—"older and wiser" is welcome
- Enjoys organising events and making things happen
- Has genuine warmth and presence — someone residents look forward to seeing
You don't need a care background.
What matters most is heart, initiative, and community spirit.
