We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with a keen interest in modern infrastructure and cloud technologies. The role involves supporting the technical delivery of complex projects, collaborating with stakeholders across the business, and ensuring operational excellence through incident management, preventative maintenance, and ongoing service improvement.

• Extensive experience in the design, deployment, and support of Microsoft server and cloud technologies, including Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Certificate Services, Public Key Infrastructure, Microsoft System Centre Suite (MECM, DPM, SCOM), Microsoft Azure (Azure Files, IaaS Virtual Machines, Backup and Recovery), Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong experience managing Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025).
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Power Shell.
• Experience with virtualization and high‑availability solutions, including Hyper‑V, Windows Admin Centre, and Failover Clustering.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server in both clustered and standalone deployments.
• At least five years’ experience in a similar role within large and diverse enterprise environments focusing on Microsoft server and cloud technologies.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, high‑quality documentation such as processes, procedures, and technical designs.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership.

• Experience designing and deploying highly available infrastructure within Microsoft Azure, including the use of Network Virtual Appliances and load balancers.
• Linux server administration experience.

This role is subject to a clear standard DBS check being received.
