Job Title: Packaging Technologist FMCG
Location: Ringwood, Hampshire (Hybrid flexibility after probation)
Salary: DOE plus benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am 5:00 pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

As a Packaging Technologist, you ll help ensure the safety, compliance, and quality of all products. You ll work closely with suppliers, logistics, sales teams, and customers.

Key Responsibilities as a Packaging Technologist:

• Manage product specifications and risk assessments
• Ensure products meet legal and customer testing requirements
• Support creation of accurate, compliant food labels
• Oversee quality control and inspection processes
• Handle customer complaints efficiently
• Maintain and report product data to stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with toy and food safety legislation

About You

We are looking for someone detail-focused, organised, and process-driven, with experience in product compliance, QA, or technical roles in FMCG, food, gifting, or packaging.

Essential Skills & Experience as a Packaging Technologist:

• Product compliance, QA, or technical experience (FMCG / food / gifting)
• Knowledge of food and toy safety legislation
• Skilled in specs, labelling, and risk assessments
• Comfortable working with suppliers, customers, and testing labs
• BRC experience is a plus
• Full UK driving licence & own transport
