Job Summary: We are seeking a Parts Counterman to join our team at Payne Rio Grande City Dodge/Ford. The Parts Counterman will be responsible for assisting customers with parts inquiries, identifying the correct parts needed, processing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a parts department or automotive environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented with good organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their vehicles.
• Provide accurate pricing and availability information to customers.
• Process parts orders and maintain proper documentation.
• Maintain clean and organized parts inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines in the parts department.
• Use computer systems to look up parts and check inventory levels.
