Senior Seasonal Tax Manager CPAEA

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our busy, well established CPA firm which is almost exclusively tax preparation. Our founding partner is retiring and the ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in tax preparation, compliance, and planning, with a comprehensive understanding of financial concepts, regulatory standards, and accounting software. The Senior Tax Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring accurate tax filings, maintaining compliance with applicable laws and providing insightful financial analysis to support business growth.

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and non‑profit organizations.
• Conduct requisite tax research and provide insights on tax saving strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws affecting clients.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Active CPA or EA license.
• 5+ years preparation experience of individual and business tax returns.
• Experience with accounting software. Experience with Drake Tax Preparation Software, a plus.
• Experience with tax planning strategies.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for account reconciliation and regulatory reporting tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple deadlines effectively.
