• Provide evidence-based vision care to ensure patients' health and well-being by recommending and prescribing medications and other treatment options (for example, red eye, LASIK surgery, cataract surgery).
• Deliver routine vision care using evidence-based care guidelines. Educate patients and store associates on eye health, including contact lens care, disease state management, and safety factors.
• Consult with other health professionals to prepare patient care plans, observing optometry scope of practice per state board.

• Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in the state of practice.
• EMR/EHR experience.
• Eagerness to embrace new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation.
• Experience in treating and managing ocular disease.

• Ability to make sound judgments using objective financial and business analyses to evaluate returns and risks of business choices.
• Customer/member focused environment development and service delivery.
• Execution, planning, continuous improvement, and strategic thinking.
• Ethics, compliance, adaptability, and effective communication within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to recruit doctors in partnership with Market Directors and manage optical operations in alignment with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
