Summary: Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled and versatile General & Bariatric Surgeon to join our dynamic surgical team. This blended practice model allows the surgeon to rotate between bariatric surgery and general surgery based on volume, ensuring a full clinic/OR schedule. The role is laparoscopic for both specialties, with limited robotic access, and includes minimal endoscopic procedures for pre‑ and postoperative care.

• Perform a full spectrum of bariatric procedures, including laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, SADI‑S / SIPS (Loop DS), and revisional surgeries.
• Conduct new patient consults, assessments, and post‑operative follow‑ups in collaboration with a multidisciplinary bariatric team.
• Participate in bariatric case conferences and contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide patient education and support for long‑term weight management and metabolic health.
• Participate in bariatric call coverage.

• Manage a broad range of general surgical cases, including emergency, elective, and inpatient consults.
• Perform core general surgery procedures with weekly block OR and clinic time.
• Participate in call coverage as needed.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, primary care providers, and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
