Summary
:
Associate Optometrist works with the Vision Center Manager to deliver evidence‑based vision care, manage ocular disease, and build community partnerships.

• Provide evidence‑based vision care, prescribing medications and treatments.
• Deliver routine vision care following evidence‑based guidelines; educate patients and store associates.
• Consult with other health professionals to prepare patient care plans.
• Embrace new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation.
• Maintain EMR/EHR documentation and adhere to optometry scope of practice.

• Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in state of practice.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems.

• Eagerness to adopt new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation.
• Experience treating and managing ocular disease.
