Summary: Physician follows standards of practice to provide direct quality care to patients. Assures that the patients needs are met and provides open communication with patients, families and other physicians.

• Bread and butter elective general surgery
• Weekly mix of OR and clinic time
• Call will be taken in rotation with the Rust general surgery team

• Perform a wide range of elective surgical procedures
• Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and consultations to evaluate patient health and surgical risks
• Develop and implement individualized surgical plans
• Educate patients and their families about procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care plans
• Perform other duties as required
