• Contract:
  
  190-day, part-time

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
• Current New Mexico Department of Education license appropriate to the teaching assignment with applicable endorsements or ability to obtain proper licensure within 90 days of hire

• Efficient organizational ability
• Professional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality regarding students, staff, parents, and school matters

• Coordinate teaching programs with site-based goals and district-wide objectives
• Implement approved curricula to achieve student learning at appropriate standards and benchmarks
• Arrange classroom environment for optimal learning and safety
• Use conflict resolution skills with students
• Maintain a positive attitude and conducive classroom environment
• Develop goals and objectives for self, group, and student achievement; maintain documentation for accountability
• Provide instructional activities for students
• Maintain classroom order and records of student performance and attendance
• Complete reports and report cards on time
• Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and attend conferences
• Attend staff meetings and training
• Demonstrate competent technology skills as required by regulations
• Adhere to the Code of Ethics outlined in 6.60.9 NM Administrators Code
• Perform other duties as assigned

Hours are established in the employment contract; additional hours may be assigned within the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
