Special Education and Gifted Endorsed Teacher
The ASK Academy (Attitudes, Skills, and Knowledge), a 6th-12th grade charter school in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, is a STEM innovation school with a project-based approach to teaching and learning. The academy has been noted among the top 3% of schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Scholars follow one of two career pathways — Biomedical Sciences or Engineering and Design.
The ASK Academy is entering its second decade and is seeking a Special Education and Gifted Endorsed Teacher.
- New Mexico teaching license with endorsement in special education
- Familiarity with ASK’s STEM focus and project-based learning approach
- Endorsement in Gifted education is a plus
- Case management for a group of scholars in grades 6–12 with IEPs
- Support scholars in small group, push-in, and individual instruction as well as IEP preparation
- Build connections with scholars, families, and colleagues to promote scholar success
- Position available for the 2025–2026 school year
- Benefits-eligible position
- Applicants may be eligible for a caseload management stipend of up to $5,000 per full academic year
