Department:
Patient Financial Services – UH. FTE: 1.00 (Full time) Shift: Days.

Prepare, compile, analyze, interpret, and report financial data of clinical operations. Provide financial analysis and long‑term projections, ratios, graphs and profitability reviews. Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies. No patient care assignment.

• Intermediate Excel experience required.
• Ability to handle large volumes of data.
• Experience with database software preferred.
• Experience with data analysis preferred.

• Prepare financial analysis as directed.
• Review profitability and performance of general ledgers.
• Provide financial support to operational managers in clinical operations.
• Develop business and financial recommendations for management.
• Prepare and interpret ratios and graphs for hospitals.
• Generate and review benchmarks; determine appropriate benchmarks; make recommendations.
• Prepare or review business plans and make recommendations.
• Represent hospitals on teams and in meetings where financial expertise is required.
• Collaborate with Finance and Budget Directors to maintain accurate reporting.
• Monitor, evaluate and resolve concerns or problems identified by external and internal customers; forward to appropriate departments or units for further action.

• Bachelor’s Degree (related discipline).

• Directly related experience: 3 years.
