Position SummaryThe role involves leading and developing teams, driving customer service and financial performance in a Walmart store context, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a culture of belonging and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop teams by providing training, coaching, active listening, and timely feedback.
- Communicate and collaborate with associates at all levels about store operations, technology, merchandising, and company initiatives.
- Introduce and lead change efforts, set clear expectations, and guide teams to implement business solutions.
- Model exceptional customer service by following the One Best Way (OBW) model and supporting community outreach initiatives.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues, develop action plans, and drive process improvement for a high‑quality experience.
- Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing Profit & Loss statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operations to meet shrink and sales goals.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition.
- Coordinate job‑related activities, build stakeholder relationships, communicate goals, and promote accountability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and support the Open Door Policy while guiding employees in business processes.
- Foster a culture of belonging, respect differences, and create a workplace where associates feel supported and connected.
- Act with integrity, maintain high ethical standards, and support Walmart’s regenerative goals.
- Serve customers and members by delivering results, applying data‑driven decisions, and balancing short‑ and long‑term priorities.
- Strive for continuous improvement, embrace new technologies, and encourage learning from mistakes.

Minimum Qualifications- 2 years of college, OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For firearms facilities: successful completion of a firearms‑specific criminal background check (CBC) and training.
- For facilities selling only ammunition: current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
- Must complete all required job training and assessments.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U/Bellevue University) or certificate in People and Business Leadership.
- Experience supervising 5+ direct reports, managing performance, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
