As a Dining Services Manager I, you will manage a team of food service professionals and be responsible for the overall service in the main dining room as well as special functions. Additionally, you will assist with maintaining interdepartmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operation.

• Oversee dining services operations of a small to medium volume location.
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assist with profit and loss and budgeting for this account.
• Work with the Chef and management team to create menus and provide top-quality food.
• Be involved in meal services in a seated dining room setting; include quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and related facility activities.
• Assist with rollout of new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team.
• Prepare quarterly reports for client presentation.
• Collaborate with marketing and culinary to increase sales through innovation and food quality.
• Communicate with culinary to ensure food programs reflect company vision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 2 years of food service supervisory or lead experience.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care or related food service operations.
• Welcome wait/table and catering experience (preferred).
• Possess general hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability practices.
• Proficient computer skills; knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet.
• Serv Safe certification (preferred).
• Associate’s degree (preferred).
