We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Senior to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing client relationships and ensuring the delivery of exceptional financial services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting and be proficient in various accounting software, including , Sage and Quick Books.
You will be responsible for seeing through the needs of Clients with Statutory filings, providing ad hoc advice, dealing with Client queries and managing Client relationships.
There will be a requirement to meet Clients in our Derby and Ripley office.
You will be able to work autonomously on your own initiative, with support from the team. The Accountancy team currently consists of a Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant, Payroll Manager and Practice Manager.

Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions including being a point of contact for queries and managing client deadlines.
* Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations including Self Assessment and Corporation Tax Returns and Accounts.
* Prepare, review and file VAT Returns.
* Assist with Software set up, Migration and training
* Collaborate with cross-department teams to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
* Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
* Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations that may impact clients.
Experience
* Proven experience of working in Practice for 3 years+
* Proficiency in accounting software such as , Xero, Taxcalc, Quick Books, or similar applications.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Confident and a good positive attitude

Pay:
