Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit a Picking Operative to join our client based in Denby, near Ripley, DE5. The prime purpose of the Picking Operative is to pick profile lengths ready for distribution.
Picking OperativesHours:
Static Days 6am - 6pm on a 4 on 4 off rotation
Picking Operatives Pay:Days rate: £13.18 per hour plus overtime at time and a half
Job roles and responsibilities of the Picking Operatives include:- Participate in the processing of orders; including picking, packing, labelling, and storing of the product.
- Help to maintain organisation, cleanliness, and restock.
- Adhere to loss prevention and inventory control procedures.
- Promote a positive work environment and maintain safety, always.
- Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred knowledge of hand scanners.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
This job operates in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role routinely uses heavy equipment. To perform this job you must be able to continuously lift and/or move 25kgs.
Key skills required for the role of Picking Operatives:- Attention to detail
- Previous experience of picking is required
- Working as part of a team
