Credit Manager TN

Overview

The Credit Manager will be responsible for approving or declining and issuing lines of credit to customers; conducting credit investigations, ensuring customers with delinquent accounts are contacted and proper collections procedures are followed. Helps process credit applications in store or over the phone, take payments on accounts and types sales contracts. Conducts daily collection calls to customers with payments due or to customers with past due accounts via telephone and home visits as needed.

• Approve or decline and issue lines of credit to customers
• Conduct credit investigations
• Contact customers with delinquent accounts and follow proper collections procedures
• Process credit applications in-store or over the phone
• Take payments on accounts and process types of sales contracts
• Make daily collection calls to customers with payments due or past-due accounts; perform home visits as needed

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Basic reading, numerical reasoning and comprehension skills
• Strong listening ability
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately, neatly and efficiently
• Good organization skills
• Ability to work a variable hour schedule

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Job requires "F" Endorsement; must provide proof of "F Endorsement"
