Executive Assistant to Managing Director
Ripon, North Yorkshire | Fully office-based | £35,000 - £45,000 per annum | Full-time | Permanent

Unity Resourcing is recruiting for an Executive Assistant to Managing Director to provide high‑level, dedicated support within a fast‑paced and growing business based in Ripon. This is a rewarding and varied position requiring someone highly organised, with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and proven experience in a similar role.
You will work closely with the Managing Director, supporting with day‑to‑day operations, managing priorities, and ensuring everything runs smoothly. This role would suit someone proactive, dependable, and confident communicating at a senior level.
Responsibilities- Full management of complex inboxes and diaries across multiple priorities
- Draft professional communications on behalf of the Managing Director
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and logistics
- Prepare contracts, proposals, and business documentation
- Attend leadership meetings, record actions, and ensure follow‑up is completed
- Attend client meetings alongside the Managing Director
- Manage timely follow‑up from key interactions
- Improve and streamline internal systems and processes
- Support multiple projects simultaneously with strong organisation and accuracy
- Maintain high‑quality documentation and professional standards
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Support the Managing Director while maintaining a professional and approachable presence
- Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar senior support role
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Professional and confident communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Strong work ethic and proactive approach
- Comfortable working in a client‑facing role and confident interacting professionally with clients and stakeholders
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence using systems and technology
