Behaviour Teaching Assistant

GSL Education are seeking a confident Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a specialist provision near Ripon.

The school supports pupils with behavioural and emotional needs through structured routines, clear expectations and consistent adult support. Staff focus on helping pupils develop self‑regulation and positive learning behaviours.

• Support pupils with behaviour needs in class
• Implement behaviour support strategies
• Encourage positive engagement and routines
• Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff

• Experience with behaviour support, a calm and consistent approach, strong communication skills and an enhanced DBS.
• Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
