- All cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations
- Set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time while expecting the same from crew
- Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control and food management
- Work to a schedule, maintain a perfect image and adherence to standards
- Provide great customer service, and maintain attendance and punctuality
- Transportation to/from work; store cleanliness; marketing; profitability
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler
- Prepare product
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- Orientation and training provided on the job
- Communication skills – ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; verbal customer interaction
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (calculator allowed)
- Correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eyes, hands and fingers for fast, accurate movements
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Strong math skills and fast computation

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler areas to 90 °F and above in some work areas. Sudden temperature changes, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler, hot surfaces/tools from ovens up to 500 °F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing: talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Temperament: directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working alone and with others, working under stress, meeting strict quality standards, dealing with people, analyzing and compiling data, making judgments and decisions.
Physical demands:
Standing (most tasks), walking short distances, lifting up to 50 lb cases, carrying large cans, pushing trays on dollies, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching above 72 in, and using hands continuously.
Job Duties
Deliver product by car to customers’ doors, deliver flyers and door hangers. Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards and access to an insured vehicle.
