Mechanical Technician – Ripon Paint & Body
Ripon Paint & Body, part of the Ripon Farm Services Group, is a fully equipped accident and repair centre that serves a wide range of manufacturers, insurance companies and the public.
Role OverviewAs a Mechanical Technician you will perform mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on accident‑damaged vehicles and fleet cars, using computer‑based diagnostic equipment and following the required repair approvals.
Responsibilities- Carry out mechanical repairs and maintenance to high standards.
- Diagnose vehicle issues accurately by inspecting engines and electrical/mechanical components.
- Record job time and detail all documentation in accordance with standards.
- Complete mechanical repairs for manufacturers, insurance companies and the public.
- Participate in training sessions to maintain compliance with repair approvals.
- Previous experience as a Mechanic, ideally MOT certified.
- IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a manufacturing repair centre.
- Strong service, repair and maintenance capabilities.
- 8‑hour shift, Monday to Friday, overtime available.
- Full‑time, in‑person work location.
- Entry level seniority.
