ScheduleMonday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
PrimaryJob Duties
- Initial assessment/treatment of work‑related injuries (e.g., wrist pain, shoulder pain, cuts, scrapes).
- Processing work‑man's compensation paperwork.
- Working with the work‑comp carrier.
- Involvement with Alliance Laundry safety team.
- Stretching programs with employees.
- Work hardening programs with employees.
Provides health care services to the organization's employees in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements Primary Responsibilities- Provides treatments for job‑related injuries and related injuries.
- Conducts pre‑employment health screenings and immunization clinics.
- Ensures compliance with applicable workplace safety laws and regulations; may also conduct safety training programs.
- Provides employee counseling and referrals for occupational injuries and illnesses as well as other health‑related matters.
- Monitors trends and causes of employee safety events and works with colleagues to identify areas of safety risk.
- Demonstrates professional nursing standards defined in the professional practice model.
- Uses the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses to guide response to evolving health and nursing needs of patients and the population.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- Two years’ registered nurse experience.
- Constant use of speech for oral communication.
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0–25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, reaching, and keyboard use/data entry.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (≤20 in.) and far (≥20 ft.) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of smell to detect/recognize odors.
- Frequent use of hearing to receive oral communication, distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms and malfunctioning machinery.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25–50 lbs.
- Occasional moving of patients.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Occasional driving.
- Rare crawling and running.
