Assistant/Associate Professor of Data Science/Mathematics/Computer Science

Ripon College’s Department of Mathematical and Computing Sciences is seeking qualified applicants for a full‑time tenure‑track Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, or non‑tenure‑track Professor of Practice in Data Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science, with a preference for specialists or strong interest in AI or cybersecurity.

The successful candidate will lead the development of a Data Science major and will begin the initial term in August 2026.

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Data Science, Mathematics, and Computer Science
• Develop and deliver a new Data Science major curriculum
• Conduct research in Data Science, AI, or cybersecurity and publish in peer‑reviewed venues
• Participate in departmental and university service activities

• Ph.D. in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent)
• Strong record of scholarly research in Data Science, AI, or cybersecurity
• Evidence of teaching efficacy in math and/or CS courses
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with faculty, staff, and students
