Senior Scheduler (Construction)
Grant Leading Technology is looking for an experienced Scheduler. This role will play a vital role in the development, planning, and management of acquisition and construction projects/programs for the company’s contract with a Federal client. The ideal candidate will be able to take raw requirements from a customer, translate them into scheduling items, and develop full master schedules starting from project development and controlling throughout project life cycles.
This position is full‑time and duties can be completed off‑site.
- Utilize scheduling software (P6 or Microsoft Projects) to develop and maintain project schedules
- Interact with key stakeholders including PM, take meeting minutes, and act on meeting agenda items
- Develop scheduling basis of estimates and other supporting documentation (maintain and update ground rules and assumptions)
- Prepare Master program scheduling
- Estimate contract time and determination for multiple projects
- Establish and manage risk associated with the project
- Establish reporting metrics and KPIs including look‑ahead scheduling, critical path
- Develop schedule management plans in accordance with Project Management Institute (PMI) standards
- Prepare and present schedule reports for executive management
- Conduct delay analysis and what‑if scenarios including disruption claims
- Schedule analysis and progress completion verification
- Conduct construction phase scheduling
- Integrate external fragnets into project schedule
- 10‑15 years of applied scheduling experience
- B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Economics, Industrial Management, Marketing, Quantitative Methods, Organizational Management or relevant degree
- Must know Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Effective communicator – able to manage up, collaborate with peers and customers
- Good written communication
- Proven critical thinking and analytical skills
- Federal Government experience
- Able to pass government background checks
- Must live in the United States and be willing to work East Coast hours
