Security Manager - College Park role at Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders is seeking a full-time Security Manager at the College Park Headquarters. This individual will provide professional service towards employees and guests of the Washington Commanders. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and preparedness of our facilities, staff, and guests through the management of access control systems, emergency communications platforms, and front office screening procedures. Additionally, this position will lead emergency training initiatives, manage visitor and delivery protocols, support People Operations during onboarding/offboarding, and ensure compliance through thorough documentation and SOP development.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight of Security Systems at College Park Headquarters (CCTVs and Access Control)
  • Public Safety Liaison with University of Maryland Police and Fire
  • Gameday Supervisor for Security Event Reps at Northwest Stadium
  • Oversight of Visitor Management System (Visitor Check-in and Deliveries)
  • Lead Emergency Trainings for Front Office (Fire Drill, Active Shooter, etc.)
  • Conduct Front Office Security Screening and Print Front Office IDs and Credentials
  • Assist People Operations with Onboarding and Offboarding Procedures
  • Oversee Gameday Security Secret Shopper Operations
  • Emergency Systems Administrator (Alert Media, Dataminr, 24/7 Software, etc.)
  • Compose Emergency Documentation and Standard Operating Procedures
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • 4-6 years of security and event management experience
  • Managerial, leadership, compliance, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in the operation and use of various software applications (including Word, Excel and Outlook) and eagerness to learn new systems
  • CCTV, access control, and emergency management documentation experience
  • Valid state driver's license required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work events and football home games, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and move equipment 50lbs or higher
  • Ability to perform duties with alignment to the Commanders Core Value
Compensation

Annual salary of $75,000
