OverviewJoin an award‑winning team of dedicated professionals committed to quality, compassion and community. The hospital is a non‑profit, 331‑bed full‑service facility in Clayton County and the southern crescent metro Atlanta. It offers services including a Level III NICU.
Responsibilities- Perform acute clinical care to neonates/newborns and pediatric patients.
- Apply technical procedures and treatments independently.
- Deliver all respiratory care in the perinatal area (NICU, Nursery, Labor and Delivery and ER).
Education and Work Experience
- Graduate of a JRCTE‑approved Respiratory Therapy program (two‑year preferred).
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Credentials / Certifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC or CRT with at least two years NICU experience.
- CRT or RRT with completed NICU orientation under the NICU coordinator.
- Currently licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Perinatal/Pediatric Specialty Certificate (preferred).
- Current BCLS, NRP, PALS and ACLS certifications.
- Additional credentials preferred (CPFT, RPFT, ACCS, etc.).
Experience / Knowledge
- Two years general respiratory care in an acute care hospital.
- Two years neonatal respiratory care in Level II or Level III NICU or completed training program.
- Strong communication skills with physicians, nurses and patients’ families.
- Professional paperwork completion (charting, billing, etc.).
Part Time, over 59 hours per week.
