Dietary Aide – Empire Care Centers
Join our team at Empire Care Centers (Riverdale Center for Nursing and Healing). We are looking for a Dietary Aide to support our residents’ health and well‑being through nutritious, well‑prepared meals.
Base Pay Range$13.00/hr – $15.00/hr (based on skills and experience)
Key Responsibilities- Prepare meals, snacks, and beverages according to dietary guidelines and resident care plans
- Serve meals in a safe, hygienic, and respectful manner
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in kitchen and dining areas
- Monitor food inventory and report supply needs
- Follow facility and state‑specific safety, sanitation, and dietary regulations
- Support menu planning in coordination with dietary staff, chefs, and dietitians
- Participate in nutrition education efforts and assist with tracking food‑related expenses
- Prior food service or dietary aide experience preferred (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to follow specific dietary instructions and safety procedures

Must be able to accommodate both 6:00 AM‑2:30 PM and 12:00 PM‑8:30 PM shifts (schedule given 2 weeks in advance).
