Retail Store Management Trainee - 2037 at First Cash

Salary: $18.50 to $25.00 per hour. This role is designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in fast-tracking into a Store Management position. A minimum of 1 year retail management experience is required.

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and addressing customer issues promptly.
• Assist in training store staff to meet First Cash standards.
• Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure asset protection procedures are followed.
• Oversee inventory control, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, and reporting.
• Analyze store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards and monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development and communicate with employees about the store’s mission and objectives.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge and act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise others and work with firearms and become firearms certified (as applicable).
• Minimum Age: 18 years;
  High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays; ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Store Manager Trainee will work 45+ hours per week; hours vary by business needs.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and standard office equipment; strong multi-tasking and organizational skills; cash handling experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and possess a strong work ethic and business sense.

  Sundays often closed.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary. Store Manager Trainees have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit from personal performance; further details are provided during the interview process.

Pay rates will not be below applicable local minimum wage requirements. The company may require arbitration for disputes. Earned Wage Access and 401(k) eligibility details are provided to eligible employees.
