Accounts Payable Clerk

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. Your work will help maintain strong vendor relationships, support internal teams, and uphold Velociti’s commitment to accuracy and integrity.

Your primary responsibilities include:

Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and proper authorization

Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents

Prepare and process checks, ACH, and wire transfers

Monitor discount opportunities and resolve discrepancies promptly

Assist in reviewing employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance

Post transactions to the accounts payable ledger and reconcile vendor statements

Assist with month-end closing and accruals

Work closely with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues

Support audits by providing documentation and reports

Qualifications & competencies include:

1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, billing, or a related function

Proficiency with accounting software (Next World, Net Suite, SAP, or similar)

High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines

Knowledge of internal controls and financial reporting standards

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
