The Senior Accountant reports to and performs professional accounting functions as designated. Prepares financial and statistical reports. Assists with year‑end closing of books and preparing of reports. Performs internal audit functions and projects, as assigned. Responsible for reconciliations and client prepared audit schedules.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field is required.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in accounting.
- In-depth experience with computers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (Vlook‑ups, Pivot Tables).
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Heavy balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations as well as prepared by client audit schedules as well as bank reconciliations. Internal management reporting.
- Responsible for producing the monthly Board of Directors Meeting Report.
- Responsible for Intercompany and all other Balance Sheet Reconciliation’s.
- Review and lead clearing of reconciling items timely.
- Prepare annual audit schedules.
- Prepare monthly internal board reports.
