Job Description & How to Apply Below

UCR Health and the University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine is recruiting cardiology clinicians. The clinician-educator will support the inpatient and outpatient clinical practice in cardiology within an academic setting. The incumbent will practice at UCR Health Clinics and/or UCR-affiliated clinical facilities in Riverside and surrounding areas. We are seeking a board-certified cardiologist to join our team of medical professionals.

As a cardiologist, you will work with patients to provide a full range of heart and cardiovascular services and treatments. You will perform various tests, make diagnoses, provide treatment plans and options, and work with other physicians and surgeons to treat patients' heart and/or cardiovascular disorders. To be successful as a cardiologist you will need to make important decisions regarding your patients' care and be emotionally resilient in challenging medical situations.

The ability to work and collaborate with others, in a complex and diverse environment, is also a necessity.

The successful candidate must possess an M.D. or equivalent degree and be eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment. Candidate must be board certified as a specialist in cardiology, and/or sub specialty, such as cardiovascular disease, or interventional cardiology.

A minimum of one year of practice post residency training from an accredited residency training program is required.
Applicants must qualify for medical staff privileges at UCR Health and UCR affiliated hospitals.

The full salary range for the Physician Specialist-Cardiologist is from $118,100 - $302,700 annually, with additional compensation eligibility based on clinical productivity. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
