Position descriptionThe Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Riverside invites applications for a full-time Postdoctoral Scholar position for candidates with expertise in Dynamics and Superconducting systems. The initial appointment will be for two years, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and availability of funding. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a closely related field by the time of appointment.
Successful candidates will have a strong research record and experience relevant to their area of specialization. Preferred qualifications include knowledge in superconducting vortex dynamics and knowledge in experimental electrical testing, experience in designing and implementing research protocol, managing quality data acquisition, conducting analysis, mentoring students, and contributing effectively in collaborative research environments.
