Biology Student Laboratory Teaching Assistant ; TA’BiolL A&P II Lab

Abbreviated Position Summary The Biology Student Laboratory Teaching Assistant (TA2) assists the instructor with preparation, set‑up, operation, and takedown/cleanup of laboratory classes. The TA2 may provide instruction in the laboratory, help with grading of laboratory assignments and quizzes, and perform other clerical work related to the laboratory class experience. TA2 applicants must have taken and passed the course they would TA for with a grade “B” or higher.

The course instructor is the direct supervisor and the final hire decision maker. The TA2 must be able to work a laboratory section for the full time the class lab runs, including time for set‑up, resets, take‑down, daily meetings with the instructor, grading, and other operational activities related to running the lab and lecture.

• Must be a La Sierra University student currently enrolled in the Winter 2026 quarter
• Must be able to start work immediately if hired
• Must have taken BIOL
  132/L within last 4 years and passed with a grade of B or higher or have been a previous TA2 for this course in the last 2 years
