• Position:
  Field Power Generator Technician
• Location:
  
  Riverside, CA
• Pay Rate: $33.00 - $56.00
• Perform load bank testing, commissioning, and preventive maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools (e.g., CAT ET, SIS, and other computer-based diagnostic tools/software) to troubleshoot issues
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards
• Knowledge of automatic transfer switches and control logic
• Troubleshoot and diagnose emergency repair procedures of AC/DC controls
• Troubleshoot and diagnose gas and diesel industrial engines
• Read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics
• Work independently with minimal daily supervision
• Work in a safe manner at all times

• Minimum of 5 years of heavy machinery experience
• CAT diesel and gas generators (5KW to 2
  
  MEG)
• Control panels and electrical distribution systems
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check
• One-year certificate or Associate degree from a community college or technical school;
  Minimum five plus years' CAT dealer experience and five years' power equipment industry experience or equivalent education and experience
• Reading and understanding wiring diagrams and schematics
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
