Senior Civil Engineer

Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Site/Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team in Inland Empire, CA
. This individual will provide planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. The role offers experience in site/civil engineering design for mixed‑use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, federal, and other land development projects within a continuous learning environment.

• Assist with the preparation and modification of engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software.
• Use reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrology, and topography, and evaluate their impact on project planning and design.
• Demonstrate familiarity with current local, state, and federal land‑use permitting processes.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other job duties as requested.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification; PE certification preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, multitasking, and judgment.
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work collaboratively in a team environment.

The estimated salary range for this role is $72,000 – $104,000, with potential for overtime, bonuses, and annual performance reviews.
