Associate Civil Engineer – Water Resources

We are currently seeking an Associate Engineer to join our Water Resources department. This position offers a hybrid work schedule. We are looking for enthusiastic leaders who are committed to life‑long learning and always expanding their knowledge of their discipline. Salary range: $83,200 – $133,200 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects, pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities.
  • Production of plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects.
  • Assist in preparation of various engineering reports, including alignment and feasibility studies, preliminary design reports, and Master Plans.
  • Hydraulic modeling of water and sewer systems.
  • Coordinate engineering tasks during project construction such as permitting issues, submittal reviews, survey coordination, and change order review.
  • Design mechanical projects including pump and lift stations, wells, and treatment facilities, including site grading plans.
  • Support multiple design teams and Project Managers.
Requirements
  • Ability to produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using CAD software.
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and two years’ experience in related projects.
  • Possession of a PE license.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD;
    Civil 3D a plus.
  • Working knowledge of planning and construction documents.
  • Excellent technical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on several concurrent projects.
  • Ability to read, understand, and adapt to local agency standards and communicate with agencies and clients directly and effectively.
