In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

• Maintain design concepts for circuits and systems, involving analog and digital design techniques and interface sensors with microcontrollers/microprocessors.

• Strong understanding of hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.)

• Serves as an expert within the department for a design related field and provides consulting to others on technical matters.
• Evaluates feasibility and applicability of newer technologies and methods to existing products and designs.
• Collect and analyze technical information from a variety of sources, including:
  • conversations with engineers, product managers, suppliers, etc.

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or closely related engineering field. Computer Science degree will NOT be considered.
• Engineer II: 2 – 4 years of experience
• Engineer III: 5-7 years of experience
• Engineer IV: 7+ years of experience
• Willing to learn Python, C, and other programming languages as needed
• Works well in a team environment
• Good problem-analysis and resolution skills

– The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between $82900- $120000. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package.
