CFO

We are looking for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer / VP of Accounting and Finance to lead financial strategy and oversight for a growing organization in Riverside, California. This executive will guide planning, reporting, and operational finance while helping the business scale responsibly and profitably. The ideal candidate brings strong construction industry expertise, a command of project-based accounting, and the leadership presence to influence decisions across the company.

Responsibilities:
• Direct the company’s overall financial strategy, aligning long-term plans with operational goals and growth priorities.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial performance analysis to support sound business decisions.
• Oversee accounting and finance functions, ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Manage project-based financial oversight, including job costing, contract-related reporting, and profitability analysis across construction activities.
• Partner with executive leadership to evaluate expansion opportunities, business performance, and investment decisions, including potential mergers and acquisitions.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with banking partners, insurers, and other external financial stakeholders.
• Develop and mentor the finance team, establishing high standards for accountability, communication, and execution.
• Support financial systems and reporting improvements, including effective use of enterprise platforms and process enhancements where needed.
