This is a 24-hour County-owned Restorative Transformation Center (RTC), Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) (also referred to as RTC/MHRC) specializing in serving people who have been identified as being Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) or are otherwise court ordered to treatment at this level of care. Services will be provided for a maximum of 30 residential beds, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (24/7).
The 30 beds can be used for male and female clientsinterchangeably. A maximum of 20 beds are specific for IST consumers identified by Superior Court, Riverside Sheriff's Office (RSO), or Riverside University Health System - Behavioral Health(RUHS-BH) teams. Ten beds are designated for consumers needing residential services with a secondary focus on consumers under Laura's Law/AOT, and Other RUHS-BH and Superior Court Diversion Programs.

Expected starting wage range is $33.53 - $41.39. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
Shift differentials for hourly staff (6% for PM Shift, 10% for Overnight Shift). Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff (5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift)
POSITION SUMMARYThe LVN/LPT Supervisor II implements and supervises assigned position(s) within the nursing department on their designated shift. Under general supervision, provides program planning development, review, and assessment of clinical and administrative activities; uses critical thinking and independent judgement to direct, coordinate, and supervise an assigned multidisciplinary team; assigns direct report employees to work with clients according to client needs and the skills and strengths of individual team members.
Provides recovery focused services related to the safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications), as prescribed by the physician.
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited LVN or LPT program and current licensure.
- Current CPR/BLS certificate.
- Two (2) years of LVN/LPT experience in health care environment.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience. Completion of Telecare assigned Supervisory training within 12 months in lieu of supervisory experience.
- Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
- All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.

- Previous experience with population to be served and/or work in a similar program setting.
- Understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment, and knowledge of psychotropic medication.
- Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provides functional and administrative supervision for assigned professional, para-professional, support staff, nursing students or interns.
- Exercises independent judgment and discretion to provide day-to-day supervision of designated staff members, including:
Assigning staff to work with individual clients based on their individual needs and the individual skill sets of staff members - Directing staff in the performance of their job duties
- Training and coaching staff
- Evaluating job performance
- Overseeing disciplinary process as needed for performance issues
- Participating in the recruitment and selection of new staff members
- Makes use of management practices that include empowerment of staff, the provision of clear and concise expectations regarding duties assigned to employees, and frequent feedback focusing on both positive and problematic aspects of work performance and other management practices that are consistent with Continuous Quality Improvement.
