Job Summary
Clinical Laboratory Scientist position requiring at least two years of experience to perform testing in assigned work areas without direct supervision.
Responsibilities- Conduct testing in assigned work areas independently.
- Maintain a "can do" attitude and adapt to change.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic regarding time and attendance.
- Apply thorough understanding of theoretical and technical issues in all duties.
- Execute quality control procedures, document and resolve QC failures in accordance with policy.
- Recognize relationships between test results and respond appropriately.
- Call all critical values to the physician.
- Minimum of two years experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
- Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
- ASCP registration or equivalent desirable.
