The good news is that your training will teach you everything you need to know to succeed as a caregiver. Even if you have minimal experience with caregiving, our extensive training will be sure you are prepared for your work tasks. Some common tasks and responsibilities:
- Perform light housekeeping
- Take clients on walks as well as helping with daily exercise
- Able to prepare basic meal (you don't need to be a gourmet chef)
- Medication/Appointment reminders
- Assist with daily activities (dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, bathing)
- Involvement with conversation, games, and puzzles
- Transportation for shopping, appointments, or errands
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check
- Positive attitude, caring nature, and desire to make a difference in someone's life
