Job SummaryAssociate Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market‑ready standard, ensuring a high level of service at all times. They also build and motivate high performing teams to maximize property performance.
EssentialJob Duties
- Assisting the Regional Property Manager with the overall operations of the building.
- Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast‑paced environment.
- Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
- Providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
- Completing lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
- Tracking and evaluating advertising, and all client traffic.
- Leading by example, instilling and modeling the Cushman & Wakefield mission to be the best national management company.
- Supervising day‑to‑day operations of the on‑site team, ensuring adherence to Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures.
- Hiring, coaching, and retaining/on‑site staff.
- Maintaining resident files in accordance with company standards.
- Maintaining a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow‑up.
- Managing all aspects of the overall community budget and finances.
- Working with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
- General office, bookkeeping and sales skills with excellent oral and written communication.
- Determining leasing opportunities for staff and goal setting to improve performance.
- Supervising day‑to‑day operations of team per Cushman & Wakefield policies.
- Working with leasing staff to meet marketing goals.
- Managing a team.
- Performing other related duties as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required.
- 3+ years of Property Management experience.
- 1+ years of Management experience.
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.
Physical DemandsEmployees may need to stand and walk for extended periods, ascend/descend stairs, ladders, and step stools, and travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions. Employees may also regularly remain in stationary positions for 85% of the time and operate office machinery.

BenefitsCushman & Wakefield provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance, as well as paid and unpaid time off. Compensation for the position will depend on factors such as collective bargaining agreement coverage, geographic area, market pay rates, and candidate experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage.
The compensation for the position is: $22.95 - $27.00.
