Children Striving Together is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing mentorship, resources, and positive outlets for youth in underserved communities. Our mission is to create safe spaces that foster growth, creativity, and support, enabling every child to thrive.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and organized volunteer to serve as a Mentorship Coordinator at our Inland Empire location. In this role, you will facilitate weekly workshops as part of our collaboration with IEHP Wellness Center. Your efforts will directly support the personal and academic development of youth in our programs. This role is ideal for someone who believes in the power of connection, guidance, and community.
Key Responsibilities- Program Support:
Coordinate regular check‑ins, track progress, and gather feedback to enhance the mentorship experience for both mentors and mentees. - Event Planning:
Assist in organizing virtual or in‑person meetups, workshops, and recognition events that strengthen relationships. - Data & Reporting:
Maintain records of mentor and mentee activity, track program outcomes, and support reporting efforts to help CST evaluate impact. - Collaboration:
Work closely with other volunteers, staff, and community partners to support the broader goals of Children Striving Together.
- Experience:
Prior experience in mentorship, youth programming, case management, or volunteer coordination is preferred but not required. - Organizational
Skills:
Strong ability to manage schedules, track relationships, and handle multiple moving pieces. - Communication:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of supporting both youth and adult volunteers. - Tech‑Savvy:
Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, video conferencing, and basic databases. - Commitment to Youth:
Sincere dedication to empowering underserved youth through consistent support and positive guidance.

Workshops will take place every Friday from 3‑5 pm, with check‑in at 2:30 and check‑out at 5:30 pm. - Meaningful Impact:
