Global Outreach Ministry Assistant

The Grove’s Outreach Team exists to glorify God by equipping the church to share the love of Jesus with people throughout the whole world (Acts 1:8). As the Global Outreach Ministry Assistant, you will partner closely with the Outreach Pastor to turn this vision into action. This role is the operational backbone of our global initiatives, facilitating seamless communication within the Outreach Department, across Grove ministry departments, and with Global Partners worldwide.

Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, salary OUTREACH MINISTRY – 25%
Regularly engage with global partners for prayer and encouragement.

Assist in planning and implementing outreach training events; help develop training materials.

Engage with Global Partners to understand their ministry needs and help identify opportunities for The Grove to support and advance the Gospel.

Partner with Women’s Ministry to bless and encourage Global Partners through the annual Christmas gift initiatives.

COMMUNICATIONS & DATABASE MANAGEMENT – 25%
Act as the primary point of contact for all Grove Outreach calls, emails, and workflow.

Oversee communications with Global Partners and connect them to the appropriate team members.

Update and maintain the Outreach database with Global Partner information and communication details.

Manage Outreach Department files in SharePoint and Monday.

Manage and update the church database for all Outreach communication requests, room reservations, and vehicle requests.

ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT – 25%
Manage the Outreach Pastor’s calendar, appointments, and travel logistics.

Maintain the Outreach department calendar; organize department celebrations, retreats, and special events.

Coordinate weekly department meetings; prepare presentation materials and details for special events.

Track department expenditures, prepare purchase orders, and submit reimbursement requests.

Prepare reports and presentation packets for annual Love Offering initiatives.

GLOBAL PARTNER & VOLUNTEER SUPPORT – 15%
Assist with the Global Partner application process, annual questionnaires, Love Offering forms, and related collateral.

Oversee the onboarding process for volunteers serving in Global Outreach roles.

OTHER MINISTRY – 10%
Cultivate intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines.

Attend outreach team meetings, church all-staff meetings, devotions, and trainings; lead staff devotions.
